Does Fiesta Texas allow small cameras in?

Their call center is closed and we are going there tomorrow and I would hate to walk to the gate and them tell me I can't take my small Samsung digital camera in. Does anyone know if I am able to or not?

Yes, you can take your camera in. However, you will not be allowed to take your camera on the rides, and you will be required to leave the camera(along with other loose articles) in a locker which will cost $1. A way around this is to get your pictures done,exit the park and get a handstamp, and store the camera in the trunk of your car. Then you can ride all you want and you won't have to worry about the camera or lockers.

You will have to pass through metal detectors to get to the park, and a camera (along with a cell phone, keys, ect) will probally cause them to sound an alarm. Security will want to take a look at your bag/f***y pack, just to make sure that you aren't carrying a weapon or anything that could be dangerous or illegal. Once that has been determined, you will be allowed into the park to enjoy your day.

I've brought everything from camcorders to a large digital camera with a telephoto lens in with me and have never had a problem.  A small digital should be no problem at all:-)  Have fun for me --- we've relocated to Colorado Springs for the next year..I'm missing Texas something awful:-)

yea you can take your camera! Just no guns or alcohol. lol. If you are still worried they dont search you, just put it in your pocket, or in a pocket in your purse cuz they only really look in the main big part of the purse. I have taken my camera more than once and to different six flag parks. Have fun. I love fiesta texas!

Yes, you can take in your camera.  They will ask you to open your bag at the gate just to check and see if you are carrying a weapon, or drugs.  Cameras are not a problem.  I have been to Fiesta Texas and have taken a ton of photos there!  Have a great time!
