Because IE runs on Avtive X so is Firefox Java

  1. No.

    If I remember correctly, Firefox is written mostly in C. It's only involvement with Java is that you can install the Java plugin in it (that plug in can also be installed in IE).

    IE doesn't run on ActiveX either, it can use ActiveX to communicate with other Windows programs, and other programs can use ActiveX to embed IE, but that's all.
