  1. Change the brand you are using. This has a lot to do with the fishy taste, smell and burping. The better brands like Carlson's, for example, are cold pressed, not "processed" with heat, etc. so that you get the full EPA's & DHA's instead of only partial the benefit. The other thing about Carlson's and a few others is that they are from Norway and areas in the North Atlantic where the fish have little or no mercury or PCB's and the fish are healthier. - No burping or fishy flavor guaranteed!

  2. No fish burps have we noticed...and these little gems are really good for you.  Ignore those annoying 'fishy-burps'!

  3. i buy 3 different brands and no burps..ever....Life Extension Foundation, NSI, and Rx omega-3 from Natural Factors.

  4. Yes but better quality supplements don't cause that problem. The best are   CARLSON Norwegian Fish Oil

  5. Yes indeed!! and sometimes they can be really gross and fishy. The thing is- is that it is normal BUT you can get different fish oil supplements now that are better. I think GNC has some that have overcome the fish burps. Good Luck!!

  6. Yes, they ALL make me burp. In the supplement industry they call this "repeat." There are some brands that have added Lipase, a digestive enzyme to help your body digest the oil more quickly and peppermint to help while the oil gets through the system. One of these is Renew Life brand; read about it here: http://www.renewlife.com/oils/FishSMARTU... It's pretty pricey.

What I do is take a liquid that is emulsified and peppermint flavored. What I do burp and taste is mint, which I don't mind, and it doesn't last very long. It is Twinlab emulsified Norwegian cod liver oil. It's pretty reasonably priced.
