I saw the ppv, Anderson vs the irvin guy. After the fight they posted a video that said something like "Forrest says he hates Anderson Silva, 'I hate him!' " It wasn't uploaded but the video section showed this like it was about to be uploaded but it never was. Everyone in lightweight fears Anderson Silva, yes everyone. Forrest Griffin knows Silva would murder him.

  1. Maybe that's foreshadowing of a fight of their own to come.

  2. idk but anderson seems like a cool guy i dont know why anyone would hate him...i saw the video i think he was just playing around

  3. REally .. are you serious ??

I thought both guys are classy.

  4. With Forrest loving to just goof off the way he does, I'd say he was just having a good time and acting silly. I think Forrest is a classy kind of guy and so is Silva. I doubt very seriously that there is anything to sweat when it comes to Forrest hating on Silva. 2 classy bad a$$ dudes, with a lot of respect for other fighters in their chosen sport. Forrest was most likely throwing a fit, kinda saying oh great now I have to fight this guy...his belt at middle weight isn't enough now he has to come up and go after mine. We've all seen how Forrest is about goofing around.

  5. No I wouldn't think so,

Probably just tv publicity hype for ratings :)***

  6. i dont think griffin hates anyone, hes always smiling.

its probably more sarcastic....i hate him because hes so friggin good!

like a girl saying they hate supermodels for being so pretty.

  7. Forrest is a very easy going guy. My guess is he was saying it sarcastically. He had just watched Anderson Silva completely destroy James Irvin and probably said "I hate him" meaning "I'm envious of his skills and how easy he makes things look." Forrest works very hard with very well thought out game plans and my guess is that he is envious of Silva's talent and how easy he made destroying James Irvin look, not that he actually doesnt like him.

It's a figure of speech, like if you try to do something 8 times and your friend gets its the first try you say "Man, I hate you" it's not that you actually hate your friend.
