I'm sure the man drives and flies...just like the rest of us.  To call Gore a hypocrite is being a hypocrite yourself (assuming you don't walk or bike everywhere).  If the assertion is being made that Al Gore is a hypocrite and thus has no right to discuss global warming, then, under that ideology, global warming would never get discussed by anyone with a car.  The fact is, our country is built for cars and planes, not feet and bycicles.  Our cities have been built for cars, not people.

Paying for carbon credits is the most moronic thing I've ever heard of. It's like going out and killing someone, then having a kid to make up for the fact that you killed someone. If he actually believed the BS he was spouting he would ride a bike to the train station and travel that way instead of chartering his own jet.

Actually, i looked into it and he found out just how much polution his helicopters and jets make and he paid to plant enough tree's to undo the damage he does more than twenty five times. so you guys can get all upset and say how he has no right to tell us how the ice caps are melting, but your wrong. He's a true hypocrite, just like all the other "global warming" advocates.  They want you to walk to work, but heaven forbid they ever do that.

Al Gore has a gigantic home and travels by private jet.  He then buys carbon credits (from himself) to compensate for his CO2 footprint.

This is like pigging out on ice cream morning, noon, and night, and then paying someone to go to the gym to work out for you.  So you can feel noble.
