I have a stopover in Gatwick and there's no point in getting any British pounds so I hope they do!

  1. Because it is an airport they will accept it!  I don't know why these people are saying no.  And if the one store that doesn't accept it is where you want to get something, run over and exchange a few euros for pounds.

    Good luck, have fun!

  2. Don't think so. But there will be a bureau de change where you can get some pounds.

  3. No. Its not legal tender in this country. We use Pound Sterling or GBP or £UK. Just go to an ATM & draw out what you need.

  4. Yes most of the shops take euros, but the exchange rate is not brilliant.
