Imagine having cake while your fellow citizens are drowning, swimming among snakes and alligators, stranded on roof tops with signs stating HELP PLEASE! Now imagine you are the President of the United States and less than a year you provided help to thousands, half way around the world and yet dismiss your countrymen. Why would any logical person support Bush or McCain who happen to be eating cake together in Arizona. Look it up, its factual; Katrina will live in the minds of Americans for a long time to come.

First off, even Obama doesn't; he just uses his "blackness" and his presumptive connection with that community for his own political ends. You watch; should Obama be elected, it will be Politics As Usual in that regard, and others.

I don't think he cares about anyone other than people like himself --- rich.  I don't think he could give a rat's you-know-what about middle-class or poor Americans regardless of the color of their skin.
