  1. I don't get nuking the enemy here, but they were all destroyed.I don't think God would be very pleased at all with nuclear destruction.

Do you think God got enjoyment of His children being killed,it's heart breaking to the Father to destroy His children.

These people were relatives to the Isrealites,Amalek was Esau's son.But they took advantage of their own kin when the Isrealites came from wandering in the desert for 40 years, eescaping from Pharoahs slavery, they were gonna kill the Isrealites.God didn't take too kindly to that.

Saul listened to the people and disobeyed God,he let the Kenites go,let Agag live and kept the best of the flocks. The people told Saul that this was not an evil thing,to kill off innocent animals, and to end their arguement they made something religous out of their evil act...sacrafice some of the animals to God.Much like it is today,

  2. Sounds a lot like Allah, who espouses the killing of infidels, doesn't it?

This is exactly what is wrong with religion.  Each religion tells you it's all about love and acceptance, and if you don't do things they way they do, they will kill you.

  3. I'm sure some would agree.

Justifying any heinous act upon one's religious beliefs (that includes any and all religions) is very dangerous.

  4. It would of been nice to show the verse so we could read it, instead of going to a bible which isn't near me.

  5. It certainly seems that way.. But you must remember that this is the Old Testament, after Jesus' coming, things were a bit different
