  1. God's (main english) name is based on a four letter hebrew word which translates into english as YHWH or JHVH. This is the origins of Yahweh and Jehovah (Biblical hebrew lacked vowels, and the reader had to supply them). Other languages have variations on this or the original Hebrew. The true name of God (If he exists) was lost by Jews who developed a superstition against saying his name (like the scene from the Life of Brian)

  2. Almighty Immanuel..

  3. The True God, Jehovah (YHWH or JHVH) does not need a surname.

He is the Almighty.  He is the ONLY God deserving worship & honor.

Psalm 83:18 says: “You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”

  12. some people call him Jehovah

  13. yes, its god shwartz-mackenzie-akbar.

god gets stopped at airports, god is sick of having extra names, every time you people create a new religion, he has to add an extra name to his last name making signitures a pain in the ***.

god told me he will smite the next joker that creates a new jude-christian relgion.

  14. Well, Jesus and Mary have full names, because they were humans.

God is God. He is spiritual and divine. He has but one name. God.

It took me a while to understand this, actually (when i was growing up)

But God, took himself, his spirit, his power, to impregnate Mary, her being a virgin.... So she gave birth to the human, Jesus. God was still in heaven, but part of him ( kind of like astral projection ) was in Jesus, the human hull for God to exist on earth.

So long story short, that is why only Jesus and Mary have full names.

  15. Jehovah Jirah.

  16. John A d**n Wright

  17. Chuck Norris.

  18. The name of God is Jesus. Jesus is God existing as a man.

Act 9:3  And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

Act 9:4  And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Act 9:5  And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

This is why we baptize in the name of Jesus. The name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is Jesus.

Act 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Act 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
