Does Greyhound (bus) stop at the Mexican customs office when crossing into Mexico?

I'll need to get a tourist permit. Does anyone know if Greyhound will stop somewhere for me to get this?

you just need a green card for when you come back.

Be sure to tell the bus driver that you need to do this.  They are supposed to stop but most of the time they don't need to so they don't.

are you just going to the border (TJ?) or going farther inland?

if you are only going to TJ you wont need it

I have answered 2 questions just like this today...sort of unusual.  I just crossed the border by bus and it did not...but i see one answerer said it does, wish he had given more info.
