  1. I had an excellent work record at HEB, had moved up to middle management, all of my managers encouraged me to continue moving up the ladder. I had excellent repoire with my customers and fellow co-workers, had been told numerous times that I was exactly the type of employee that HEB needed, etc... Then two years ago, my spouse got a job in Ohio, and I had to leave HEB. I gave them well over a month's notice with deep regrets. When we moved back to Texas, I re-applied at HEB, thinking I would be rehired immediately due to my excellent track record with the company. I was even prepared and willing to start again as a cashier. I applied twice, went through the whole interview and group interview process, and was not called back. I called both times and was told, both times, that I was not what the company was looking for, but was never told why they wouldn't re-hire me, though I asked under two separate managers. So, in answer to your question, Guest6105, I can think of no reason why they wouldn't re-hire you or me, but it certainly appears that they do NOT re-hire, and I have had several former co-workers tell me the same thing. I do not understand why they put me through the whole interview process again, however if they already had no intentions of re-hiring me.
