She receives monies from the Civil List although it is less than what is turned over by her from the Crown Estates.  So everyone that thinks she sponges off the taxpayer is just misinformed.  There are certain people in the Royal Family who are also funded like Philip, Andrew, etc. but the Queen reimburses that money and pays for them herself.  Of course she is going to have a considerable private fortune, but nothing in her public life is paid for out of that...

The queen get a gazillion quid a year for doing f**k all except for waving at mindless commoners who l**k her a**e.

All the royals get a load of money from the state and that means us, the tax payers, ('cept me , I'm on the dole), pay.

No, she does not.  Her official expenses are paid by the taxpayer, while her personal expenses are personally funded.

To say the queen gets nothing from taxpayers is ridiculous. She does.

This is not to say she has no wealth of her own, her family have stolen from commoners for centuries so they are not short of a bob or two. The sooner we get rid of this family of genetically challenged thieving leeches the better.

Yes- annually the Government must pay RENT to the Crown for using Her properties.

Furthermore she recieves rollover from Her Majesty's investments. One can quite easily assume Queen Elizabeth is a multi-billionaire, worth many times more than what is disclosed in Forbes.

As such, were the government to cease renting- the Queen would be adfequately self-sufficient- considering Hedge Fund interest is around 100+% pa= she is sitting pretty fecking financially sound.

That's why Her majesty looks so well-preserved- imagine how you'd look if you'd never have to worry about money.

We via our taxes DO NOT support her at all- this is a simpleton's myth.
