Does Halo and Halo 2 work on an xbox 360?

Question

I was wondering if Halo and Halo 2 work on Xbox360 console because when I got my 360 I got halo 3 and then I didn't know what the whole story was so all answers about this will be appreciated. Thanks :D

halo 1 on marketplace u copuld easy buy it in a store for 10 or lower vs 15 online

I have both Halo and Halo 2 for my xbox 360. It depends on the game that you are buying some games are just made for the regular xbox and some are made for both the xbox 360. Most times if it is made for the xbox it usually works for the xbox 360. I buy all my games a game stop and on the outside of the package it says which system it is compatible with.

Luckily both Halo and Halo 2 are backward compatible on the Xbox 360 Pro & Elite. There is a specific list as to what games you can play from the original Xbox on the Xbox 360. This list is located here: http://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/backward...

These games are very cheap these days due to how outdated they are. You could get them very easily for free at http://iwantfreegames.tk

Yes both of the first two halo games are backwards compatible, and will work with the Xbox 360.

The demo disc included with Official XBox Magazine always has the latest backward compatibility updates.
