  1. Well they signed him for five years but i don't know why they picked two second year drivers for their lineup. It's good that they kept the competition from getting a driver like Heikki but they should have picked a veteran to help them with the development of the car, someone who could provide good feedback, someone like Alonso.

  2. I think he will be at Mclaren for a few years yet.....

Lewis over the top slidey style was taking the edge off the option tyres, I think so he needed the more resistant one for a complete qualifying lap.

  3. I don't see why not...Hamilton is indebted to Ron Denis and as long as the team continues to stay behind Lewis and he the same way I have no reason to believe that he would jump ship for another team.

  4. I don't see Hamilton and McLaren parting ways any time soon unless something big happens. It could be argued that McLaren is the biggest reason Hamilton is even in F1. Keep in mind that Hamilton is still just a sophomore in the F1 arena and is still learning. Decisions get made and sometimes it turns out to be a mistake.

  5. i think it's better for hamilton driving in an underdog team.

  6. I believe that it is his best long term chance. It is possible that he could go elsewhere, but I don't think it's likely.

  7. I think he has a few bright years ahead of him at Mclaren but I think he will maybe move to someone like Ferrari or BMW if Mclaren lose there run.

  8. Kovalainen is much more likely to stay loyal to McLaren if they fade away I would think.

Hamilton may have been pushed through the ranks of motorsport thanks to Dennis but I believe he would put his career over anything and anyone and would happily leave for a faster team if they're not competitive.

So they have to perform if they want to keep him or so I think.

  9. Probably. He's signed on for what? 5 years? But I did question them putting him together with Heikki. Two drivers only in their second year of F1 is not a very good idea. Too bad about Alonso. We'll see in a few more years if it was a good deal for Hamilton and/or the team
