Oh with out a doubt he deserves an award.. his role as joker was amazing..he was responsable for making that movie as good as it is.

He did amazing as the joker. But if he was alive he wouldn't be nominated in something like the Oscars. Maybe the MTV movies awards, definitely the teen choice awards. But not the Oscars. To give someone an award because they put too much into a character and accidentally killed themselves over it, is wrong. I think he did amazing. I think he pulled that movie. The only scenes that were good were the ones with him in it. I still can't believe that that was that same guy in 10 things I hate about you. But I don't think that he should win an Oscar for it.

Yes. He had me at the edge of my seat as the joker, and honestly, made Jack Nicholson look like Mrs. Doubtfire.

The only reason they never would have considered it if he was alive is because it's a comic book movie. Now that he's dead, they might just nominate him.

Ledger's performance in the Dark Knight was the best I have ever seen in my lifetime from any actor. If he does not get an award because he is dead, it's the last time I trust the Academy with any type of critique because they are clearly blind and deaf.

Of course he should! He was amazing in the Film! and besides, he's one of the reason's why people watched The Dark Knight, because all of them wanted to see the last movie of Heath Ledger which was really Great! He really deserves to be the winner , Dead or Alive.
