Does Hena on my hand and finger effect fingerprints? for U.S citizenship fingerprints?

i have fingerprints appointment of US citizenship this week but on one of my hand i have henna covering all 5 fingers. will it be a problem for me during fingerprint appointment. does henna effect fingerprints? thank you

  1. Fingerprints are effected by tiny unique ridges in your fingers. Unless you burn them you should be fine. Make sure the henna doesn't bleed when wet and you're good to go.


  2. No henna won't affect your fingerprints, because it is just a dye and does not fill up the ridges that make your fingerprint unique.

  3. Henna won't change your fingerprints but it may raise some eyebrows when they see it.
