I think the real question is does she support McCain, which is obviously no.

Hillary has thousands of supporter across the Country, now they are all let down because she did not get the nomination. Some of them are not all as left wing as Obama supporters, so Hillary needs to make sure that they are convinced to vote for Obama.

Even if Hillary doesn't want to be Vice President her words STILL can convince thousands. So she needs to keep showing support to sway her supporters.

All in all she wants a democrat in the white house. Even if in now can't be herself.
