Does Hollyoaks represent teenage issues in a realistic way?

This is for my media project, i'm looking to see what the their target audience thinks of their represenations of the issues they portray eg, drug abuse, domestic violence,incest etc. Thank you x

  1. It used to, then it started getting a bit 'days of our lives' like for example when justin had a drink problem he literally went from having one drink to becoming an alcoholic in the next episode, it doesnt show it in a realistic way at all, just gets straight to the meat for entertainment value.

    Also they repeat so many story lines it gets annoying, jp and craig, now jp and the priest, its like come on!!!!


  2. Not in the accepted sense, to condense all of the countries ills into one small area is a bit far fetched.
