Does Honda still make the Rebel 250?

I am thinking of getting this as a starter bike and the salesman told me he couldn't get them anymore but couldn't/wouldn't give me any more details.

You would be much better off with a Kymco Venox or a Hyosung  GV250 Much better bikes and just as reliable. Both are well made and honor their warranty's not imported from China junk. To find about them go to www.prideinwhatyouride.com and ask it is a forum of owners and rides of them.

The 08 model might be sold out, or that dealer didn't order enough of them back in 07 and his inventory has sold out.

They wouldn't want to lose your business by telling you where to get them, or the price would be to much for them to order from another dealer.

Find a good used one.  But they do still make them.  Go to Honda.com and check them out.
