you always here talk about playboy but what about playgirl? is there really a playgirl magazine? and if so does hef own that too

No, it is owned by another company out of New York...as of recently it's no longer in print, but will continue to be "printed" on the web.

No, he has owned only 2 mags: "PLAYBOY that first appeared December 1953 and SHOW BUSINESS ILLUSTRATED that cost him a bundle when it soon folded. I forget the date for it. I think it was in the 1960's. PLAYGIRL is an entirely different publication, and Hugh Hefner has nothing to do with it.
