  1. It does help to fight what ever nasty stuff you might have in your mouth or in between your teeth. I would be a little careful not to use it ALL the time because its sort of like a meat tenderizer and it could do some damage to your gums and tongue. I've only heard of this from one dentist. I would say try it, but keep an eye on your gums and such.

  2. No, hydrogen peroxide does not prevent cavities. In fact over use could weaken the teeth.

Do not rinse with hydrogen peroxide for more than 2 weeks because it will upset the bacterial population of your mouth.  Stain producing bacteria will overrun the other bacteria and a harmless but unsightly condition called black hairy tongue (the surface of the tongue turns black!) will result.

You can gently rinse the next day after extraction

  3. I've never heard that. Hm... it has so many great uses in the mouth it can't hurt to use it. I gargle with it every morning.

I would assume that you can use it as soon as the dentist clears you to eat food.

  4. CAVITIES ARE CAUSED BY A STRAIN OF BACTERIA CALLED STEPTOCOCCUS MUTANS. HYDROGEN PEROXIDE WILL KILL THESE BACTERIA AND KEEP DECAY AT BAY.

USE A DILUTED MIX OFF 50% PEROXIDE AND WATER BEFORE BEDTIME AND THIS WILL SUFFICE.
