  1. No.

  2. Best example is the on going test match between india and sri lanka.

Indians can't get rid of IPL mentality and see the run rate they have achieved in a test match and the total score is very cheap. It will ruin the test cricket soon.

IPL targets money not the sportsmanship

    Sreeshant Hrbajan incident

Once a year they are going to do that so cricket calendar get mixed up

But dude, there are lot possitive points also...

  3. IPL

    Negative:

    baught money into the game

    - players are starting to think more about money than the game of cricket itself.

Does not offer same skills as test and ODI

    Positive:

Players Able to work with other countries

Players able to work with some of the greats

Helped get a larger cricket population

  4. Why are you people against IPL?

  5. give it time to come to a decision..

we cant come to a conclusion after one season..

but so far...it has brought more positve effects to the game more than negative..

and plus...its fun to watch...and players say..its fun to play..

the only thing i dnt like abt it is...SRK and other owners of franchises interfereing...THEY know NOTHING ABT CRICKET...let players be themselves..

  6. Friends, in my opinion, the IPL cannot uplift the sagging sports culture of the world.I think the money invested was wasted in bids because many well-paid players performed poorly and failed to live up to the expectations of their respective franchises.the money involved did nothing more than encrouaging the greeds among the cricketers.it may be business  at its best due to the sheer newness of the corporate format but it undoubtedly was sports at its worst. this miniature version of ODI can never obliterate the popularity and utility of the test or ODI concept.on top of that ,it was terrible wastage of the valuable time of the odience especially that of student and professionals.

  7. no. its good

  8. Those who wantgs entertaining and excitement, IPL was a grant success.  However, it was not good for people who love to watch cricket in true sense, i.e. quality of batting abd bowling.
