Does Ikea delivery to front door or into your house/apartment?

I'm in the Houston area and I am going to buy some furnitures from Ikea

does their basic delivery take the furnitures to your front door or into the house/apartment? thanks

well they should take the furniture because then that would be bad buisness wouldn't it.

I've bought a lot of furniture from IKEA and they delivered it into my apartment and even offered to unpackage it (I think the guy was just being nice at that point).

For a $150 delivery charge they better pay someone to help.

I live on the second floor of a house so I am not sure what they do if you live in a highrise building. There should be a freight elevator if that is your case.

They do deliver into your home so just don't feel bad and tell them not to even if you live with or are a gladiator. Its their job.

the best way to find out is to go to their website or call customer service. I'm not sure they deliver but I may be wront

to your front door. It comes it huge boxes and you have to assemble it yourself (which, by the way, is a HUGE pain in the ***)
