Does Indonesia require you to be a citizen in order to attend their public schools?

I don't think so. I guess it depends on which public school it is. Good ones may be harder to enroll if you're not a citizen, but still possible. Crappy ones will take you in (with the right amount of money).

I'd suggest private/international schools in Indonesia. They're abundant, more reliable and have much better curriculum.
