Does Invisalign work?

My teeth are and always have been crowded, but now that I'm in my mid-twenties, I do not want to wear braces. Does anyone use Invisalign or know anyone who does? Does it work? What were your results like?

I think it works for more minor corrective work. I don't think it will be prescribed if there are major alignment issues.

The best thing to do would be to go to your dentist or orthodontist for a consultation and checkup.

I’ve been wearing Invisalign for the last three months.

It’s working, slowly but surely.

I’m fixing an open bite, a midline shift and some crowding, among other things!

For the crowding at the bottom, they had to pull out one tooth to make room for the others. It was heartbreaking because it was good tooth. After three months, the space where it used to be is half filled and I have less crowding.

Also I had one buck teeth that is now halfway on the way to rejoin the group!

Also my open bite is slowly closing.

I will have aligners for about 6 months for the top and 15 months for the bottom.

So far, I’m very satisfied with my Invisalign except for one problem I have with it (and that nobody apparently seems to have). I have some “attachments” that they glued on my teeth. They also call those “buttons”. For some unknown reason, those attachments turned bright yellow. Was it something I ate,  something I drank or just a reaction my body had to those? Anyway, I have to bleach them for half an hour every day.

It  works, but only for  cases that involveminimal movement...if you have a severe ortodontic problem, you can't be a candidate. you need to ask an orthodontist
