    We got cut off from the rest of Europe before they arrived.

    We're also missing a few other creatures - I may be wrong but I don't think we have moles or weasels either!

  9. Yes actually there are some in the Wicklow mountains but they are there due to pets being lost etc. St. Paddy didn't really get rid of them, because there were none.
