What is the belief on taking responsibility for wrongdoing within your community?

I don't have any particular example I'm sure there's many.

I was curious how the Islamic system works as far as punishing those who do wrong and what the standards are?

  1. Qur'an says not to lie and not to be suspicious

  2. Of course, they blame others! Every time they are accused of something, their response is...'But look at what America has done" or "...."But look at what the Jews have done."

They seem incapable of accepting responsibility.

  3. I've wondered about this, particularly in regards to womens attire.

I've read that women are to wear articles of clothing that will "protect" them from the prying eyes of men, potential inciting lust, thereby leading to assault and/or rape by males

That's like blaming the woman for being assaulted.

"She was assaulted because she was dressed provocatively."

Isn't it the rapist that's responsible for committing the act?

  4. Every Iranian, Iraqi, and Pakistani,(that I knew were Muslim) which I worked with always did.

  5. Of course not. It's a different story that blaming others for your wrongdoing is a sort of human nature; and therefore many Muslims who are humans first tend to blame others.BUT it is certainly NOT CONDONED by Islam.

  6. If you would have given any examples,

i am sure i would have answered more accurately,

Islam is a strict religion for those who kill, steal, rape, murder and do any thing that is harmful for the society
