does it hurt to get your cartilage pierced . my 13 year old cousin is getting one

  2. It does more than your ear lobes. Not bad though.

  3. Cartilage? Is that the top bit of your ear? If so, it doesn't hurt a bit... I'm not just saying that.. I had it done when I was like 14 and I was worried cuz I thought it would hurt alot because cartilage is quite hard, but it hurt LESS than getting my earlobes pierced!!! Weird right.. It felt/sounded like a click and then it was done. I'd recommend it over earlobe piercing, pain-wise. good luck to her.
