the fast food is the cause of increasing of obesity in young italian people, today, as in USA

but italian fast food restaurants are more controlled and more careful about the quality of food respect in America, for example modified genetic foods in italy are forbidden

Absolutely not! There is nothing fast about food in Italy.I spent a week in Rome and dinner averaged 3 1/2 hours!

the trouble with Italian food is that you eat a meal and 3 or 4 days later your hungry again

They have a restaurant there, that is all over the place called Auto Grill... it is like a Ponderosa... that is as close as you will get to fast food in Italy.

Well, I'm italian.

We have a lot of McDonald's, two or three in every city, and other fast food like Flummer and Spizzico.

There are many takeaways where you can buy pizza, pizza sold by the slice, sandwiches, chips, coca cola...

I guess you and us are on the same planet, isn't it?

Not fast food chains like mc. d's but they have little pizzaria's all over. You walk through a line and chose your food and pay. But dinners in resturants take a while. It is not a rushed society
