Well fire services are an essential service that most of the world has. Jamaica does have a fire department. In large cities anywhere in the world, including Jamaica, they are paid. In smaller, rural towns, they are usually volunteer or paid only when they respond to a fire (Called "paid on call".) The us spends more money on the fire department than just about Any other country. We have the largest trucks and the shiniest trucks as well.

But simply put, yes, Jamaica has a fire service like we do here in the states.
