Well, she is one of would have voted for him if she resided here and not in NY.  Besides, right now Hillary Clinton supports Obama, and encouraged all democrats to vote for him.  Maybe Jennifer Lopez is doing what Hillary Clinton, Senator for NY is saying.

She is out of touch with the same people who have made her famous.  I grew up in Florida and went to a majority island hispanic high school.  I can tell you from being surrounded by families with a strong Puertorican heritage most are Republican.  The reason is many Puerto Rican families believe government should not interfere in their personal lives.  They want less government not more.  A mostly republican viewpoint.

I dont think you have enough info on JLO. first of all she was born and raised in New York, she has only been to PR twice an less than 3 days in the island. she barely speaks spanish and knows about PR culture, she just shows of her heritage because all newyoricans do, just because of pride and not because all born in US puerto ricans have been to the island. second, because she voted for her preference, people in PR did voted for Obama, but Hilary won the primaries because puerto ricans loved Bill Clinton when he was president and they supported his wife.
