Does Jerusalem have nice weather?

Aren't the residents very friendly? What do they eat and what kind of cars do they drive?

Jerusalem has very nice weather. It can get really hot during the summer days, but the evenings and late afternoons are cool and breezy. Winters are cold, but not freezing, and it only snows every few years.

We residents are very friendly. :)

We eat all types of food - you'll find traditional Israeli eateries like falafel and shawarma stores, American steak/burger restaurants, Oriental food, European cuisine... pretty much anything you want.

Most cars here are pretty small. People here buy the most economical ones they can find. Taxes are very high (70%, or something like that) when buying a new car, and gas is more expensive here than in the USA. The bus system is very well-run, though - the buses are usually air-conditioned and you can get from one side of the city to another with no more than 2 buses. There are always taxis, as well, though they're a bit expensive.

I just returned from a 6 day visit to Israel - 3 days in Jerusalem. It was very warm - but not humid like it is here in Maryland (East Coast -USA). I found the residents I came in contact with very friendly and the food was excellent. I especially loved the breakfast buffets that included fresh fruit and veggies! I visited a Moroccan Resturant, saw and Italian resturant and had burgers! Great county - beautiful city!

yes jerusalem has nice weather, the winters are coldish, it sometimes snows their,in summer it can get hot, but not humid like in tel aviv but over whole its great

in jerusalem and the rest of israel, small and medium cars are popular because of the problem with parking and the high gas prices.cars in israel are much more expensive then the u.s.a as cars are highly taxed.

with regards to food, everything goes, from westernized food to oriental.italian and middle eastern.you can find everything in jerusalem.
