Does Jesus heal through people?

I believe in this, but what does everyone else think? It says in the bible that people will have gifts of healings, prophecies, and many other things.

People are healed through others also , so I suppose the Gift is passed on.

Yes, Jesus heals through people, we call them Doctors and Nurses.  Rarely but occasionally a miracle might be wrought, but that's not the norm and never has been.

Yes, that is one of our duties as a Christian, to bring the sick before the elders and lay hands on them for healing.  However, He will also heal on His own.

For you whiners and complainers - this does NOT mean to avoid medical attention where appropriate, especially if it is evident that your faith is not strong enough and the healing did not take place for whatever reason your prayer was hindered (unforgiveness, anger, unbelief, disunity with your wife, etc.)

That stopped after Jesus.

The apostle Paul was inspired to say: “Whether there are gifts of prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with. For we have partial knowledge and we prophesy partially; but when that which is complete arrives, that which is partial will be done away with.”—1 Corinthians 12:28-31; 13:8-10.

Basing one’s faith on false promises of cures will only lead to disappointment. Moreover, regarding the time of the end, Jesus gave this warning: “False Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.” (Matthew 24:24) Besides quackery and frauds, there would also be manifestations of demonic power. As a result, claims of unexplainable events should not surprise us, and these are certainly no basis for genuine faith in God.

People cannot heal people.

They may minister healing but it is not them that is responsible.
