Question:

Does Joe Lieberman hate Barack Obama...???

It would seem as his party's nominee for VP eight years ago, he would have more party loyalty and support his party's nominee this year.

Does this mean that Joe Lieberman really puts his "country first" as they say; or does he just hold some personal grudge against Barack Obama?

Does anyone know the inside scoop - why is Lieberman supporting McCain for President?

  1. Guess who was one of the highest profile Democrats helping out Lieberman is his last, and at times, somewhat desperate campaign? Barack Obama, who went down to CO and campaigned for Lieberman.

Look how he has been repayed.

Lieberman is nothing more or less than a self centered traitor. He has gotten his head so wrapped around Iraq and Washington thinking that he only worries about which party will offer his contradictory ideas a home. It look's like he has found that party, and I really hope Joe enjoys being in the Minority.

Another part of the problem is that he is friends with McCain, as both of them have been in DC for years.

  2. There was a movie "Recount" is the name it might just be an HBO movie. When I saw how Lieberman was portrayed on there I saw him as a traitor. When Al Gore won the election but the reps. were trying to change it Lieberman did not defend the dems, himself or Gore, He was like "OK, whatever, it fine if the republicans steal the eleciton". So I trust him less that any republican. He is a sneeky liar.

  3. when bill clinton ran the party ..moderates were in charge..liberman was happy..when gore lost the liberals took the party over again and pushed liberman out

  4. YES, he's part of the usual Israel-first America-second crowd.

You have to remember Lieberman is bitter and a war monger. he thinks America should drop another cool trillion going into bankruptcy for Israel.

  5. Yeah simply because they made him chose between doing the right thing and staying loyal to a party that rejected him means he should stay loyal to them as they pound on him. FUNNY

  6. Lieberman didn't turn his back on his party, his party turned its back him. Think back to his last Senatorial campaign. All the high profile Democrats supported his opponent just because of party loyalty.

Lieberman is one of a few politicians in Washington who does put country first,  party second. I don't believe that he hates Obama, he just doesn't think he is the best Presidential candidate.

  7. That's simple    He doesn't support  empty suits

  8. Oh yes. He's not on Obama's side. He must be a racist. That's what most democrats seem to think. It's foolishness, he realizes that Obama too inexperienced for the job, and has long been friends with McCain.

  9. Well for one thing Lieberman is now a lame duck which allows him to speak his mind honestly and to reveal what he and many others within the Democratic Party must be thinking! And that is  are we being lied to and force fed a candidate in Obama that is extremely un qualified  and has one thing going for him that being his ablity to smooth talk and hood wink the people. ----------------Im sure Lieberman would have liked to really lay it on the line and tell us that we have been lied to, that Obama is a farce and a joke. That Obama is just a shill for the people that have hi jacked the Democratic Party and turned into some circus sideshow.  But Lieberman was being gracious and kind wasnt he?

  10. Joe is a mental case. No one who acts like him and walks around making those faces all day should be in Government. He is as nutty as that Montana Republican Senator that lost the election two years ago.

  11. its on both sides - he is a democrat turned to republican

while in the Dem. convention there were loads of Republicans turning Democrats.

    No shock there.

  12. No, he has seen the light

  13. wherever the corruption goes  Joe follow

  14. Did you watch his speech last night? He told you why. Hate has nothing to do with it. All of our elected officials our supposed to represent the people not the party. I think what he did took courage. As far as Joe being the VP 8 years ago, and his party loved him, do you remember how they tried to destroy him in the last election because he was able to think for himself and not be a pawn for the party.
