Do you really think this was Senator McCain's choice or was it made for him by the behind the scenes power? Senator McCain didn't even know this woman existed last month and now she's his VP running mate? If I were a woman this choice would scare me to no end. It demonstrates the influence the religious right still has on the GOP.

What really kills me is we all now the GOP is a male dominated fraternity and women are basically second class citizens in their view of things. How else to you explain the GOP putting a woman on the ticket and a woman who wants to outlaw abortion to boot? Yet they have the nerve to say they're tickled pink with the choice. Not my words, the words of a republican. Tickled pink huh? Another insight into how they really feel about women?

This is who Senator McCain thinks has earned the right to be his VP? I would think this would p**s off many people in power in his own party. This is an indirect slap in the face to many women, I don't understand what they were thinking with this pick.
