  1. no, the russian got the knife and heated it up and put it on his ribs, then McCain had some explosive arrows and took a russian helicopter and escaped (learning to fly it with in minutes because he was a republican even then). When he got back to america he became a boxer and got his title from a black man (could have been Obama's cousin) then he had a fight with a huge russian guy but he won because he is a republican and Republicans are not quitters ( their daughters just get pregnant due to lack of s*x education)

  2. yes and I think Obama still has an imprint on the seat in his church where he sat for 20 yrs and did NOTHING much like what he did in senate.

mccain 08 is the only intelegent choice.

  3. Getting really tired of the POW story as a qualification to become president.

  4. I feel sorry for people like you.

  5. Your disrespect is sickening.

  6. he wasn't the only pow your an idiot! see,,, this is why america has problems because you stuck up morons who don't know **** still run your mouths!

  7. i thought women were so *compassionate* especialy the Democrats

but I guess you are one cold hearted..lib?

  8. Weak

  9. I read on the dailykos that he betrayed every one of his fellow POWs. However I find it hard to believe he was actually a POW. I think that more likely he was doing cocaine with dumbya and fell off of a building.

  10. No. Everyone knows Obama wore the crown of thorns.

  11. Way to mock a man who suffered for our country.

  12. Let me start by saying that while I disagree with the wording of your question, I do want to say that I am tired of it being brought up by almost everyone at the convention.

I appreciate the fact that he was a P.O.W. for 5 years and I respect him for what he had to endure.

Now, with that being said, I would like to mention that in my local newspaper today, it states that Fred Thompson lied when he said, "John McCain was offered medical care for his injuries if he would give up military information in return. John McCain said, 'No'".

While it is true that McCain with-stood extraordinary abuse and that he refused early release that was offered because his father was a Navy admiral, in his own biography, Faith of My fathers, tells a different story. McCain admits that he did provide information about his ship and his squadron in exchange for medical treatment, which he says "I regret very much having done so."

So I am waiting to hear someone talk about that part of his days as a P.O.W. during one of their speeches.

  13. Oh yes, and he will be at your child's elementary school for  "show and Tell" to show off all his old war wounds, along with his famous slide show. Afterwords, the kids can joint in a Vietnamese food tasting where the featured appetizer is Vietnamese rats.

  14. It is never a good idea to make light of someone who was held captive, especially in Vietnam.  McCain knows there were many others held captive - he stayed when offered to be released because of that very point.

  15. You're underselling his war service, you fail to mention when he single-handedly won the civil war for the south.

  16. Is the Messiah, Barack Obama still wearing the nails from the time he was crucified? Does he still have the staff from when he parted the red sea? A flagon of the water he turned to wine?

When did he claim he was the only POW in Vietnam?

  17. You liberals keep showing your true colors every time you make comments like this.

  18. When he was shot down over Hanoi in 1967, he broke both arms, one shoulder and one knee. During his imprisonment, McCain was tortured repeatedly and frequently locked in solitary confinement. The faith McCain avows is a simple one: "in God, country, and each other"each other being his comrades at the Hanoi Hilton and, later, his fellow citizens. ..excerpt>  Again he was called in and asked if he was ready to confess his crimes. He replied "**** you." The next day the beatings started in earnest, he was knocked down and kicked in the head. They cracked several ribs, and knocked out several teeth. Again he was lying in his own blood, vomit and waste when guards came in and gave him his worst beating yet. One guard hit him in the face knocking him down. He fell on the waste bucket and broke his left arm again. They left him lying on the floor, the pain in the re-fractured arm was excruciating. He considered taking his own life. From: Faith of my Fathers..

  19. You seriously make me sick.  I cant believe people have such disrespect for their fellow americans.  Its liberals like you that give all of them a bad name.  Even your messiah tells you to show the man respect for all he has done in the name of his country but you cant do that.  Why dont you just expatriot? I'm sure France could use another critical coward like you.

  20. Disagree, but don't disrespect. It is not a qualification for president it is evidence of character, integrity and resolve. Which are qualifications needed of our president.

Such types of evidence is always used to validate any candidates as people.
