Of course not! He used to though, when he was 16-17 he was addicted to herion. All those people who say hes still addicted now, or smoke in general, are just stupid. He doesnt even drink alcohol. He tweeted it on Twitter that he doesnt drink :)

I am friends with Josh, and Josh does not do drugs, Josh smokes cigarettes but thats it. He promised that he is going to quit this year or next. Hope that answers your question :)

josh did use heroine and he did smoke to. not only did he use heroine and smoke, he was also belimic.  we went to a recouvery facility for a couple years and he has not smoked, used drugs, or have had an eating disorder since...

And people who are saying that lover dearest is a letter he wrote while he was in Rehab are wrong. It was a exercise that they had to do and the doctors told him to write a leeter about how he felt about heroin and he later decided to turn it into a song. He wrote "Primetime", "Sicker Things" "Skin and Bones" and "Feeling Small" about his addiction and bulimic times.
