  1. Yes most definitely.

    Best wishes :)***

  2. Anything that makes you sweat continuously will be cardio. Either way I recommend partaking in martial arts. Its a  lot of fun, trust me you will lose belly fat.

  3. yeah just do it till your heart rate goes up if you spar alot you could possibly mark it down for crunches too lol

  4. It will help but a high impact aerobics or tae bo class would serve you much better; the latter two focus strictly on cardio whereas karate works on strength, self defence, flexibility and all manners of things

  5. Go through all your katas, punches moving up and down in long stance, kicks. Basically just doing your basics should increase your heart rate and get you sweating bucket loads. At the same time engage your mind, focus and visualise each punch and kick hitting your opponent every time. You also want to train with Chi / Key energy, this should actually leave you physically drained after about 5 minutes of training, in which you will need to rest for a few minutes and then go for another round. Sparring / Shadow fighting also helps but this should be done in burst of 30 seconds all out intervals.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks

  6. I would believe so.

  7. Depends on how the Sensei runs the class, but it certainly can be aerobic and usually is.

  8. It depends on how you do it.  There are many ways to practice karate.  The good news is that most of them involve getting up and moving around which burns calories and that's what you need to lose weight.

  9. if its getting your heart rate up, yes
