  1. According to KSC's website, it is a restricted area, and thus, non-military aircraft are not even allowed into its airspace, like flying over the White House.

    Your question is a good one; during non-mission times, NASA could make serious money by charging exhorbitant landing fees to the public just to say they did it. Maybe give them a certificate or patch for doing it.


  2. They do not.  You used to be able to do low approaches, but I do not believe they allow those either anymore.
