No state in the USA has a cooling off period unless granted by the dealer, such a Carmax. California offers a 3-day return period, however you must purchase the option prior to delivery.

Once a customer takes delivery from the dealership, the deal is final unless the financing falls through. There is no contract cooling off period for auto sales. Good luck and I hope this helps to clarify.
