hello every body . I have 2 desktop computer. Last night I think one of them got virus because of visiting a web page. ( the 1 pc doesn't have any anti virus on it ) .

The problem was that i couldnt use Z on keyboard and other applications such as F1/F2 just plus Num lock and numbers which are on the top of the letters.

I thought the problem might be with the keyboard. I installed that keyboard to my second pc ( this one has Norton 2008 on it ) . but the keyboard didn't work . After i unplugged the keyboard it got the same problem !!

I couldn't use Num Lock . and etc.

I think something changed the way that keyboard works.

does any body know if it is a virus or no ? I really don't know what to do? please please help me. thanks

  1. It's unlikely that the keyboard has a virus. But the drivers for it may be corrupted by the virus, or it's at the end of it's service life. Typically keyboard keys have a lifespan of 750,000-1,000,000 keystrokes. If there are program's that the keyboard need's to run, what I would do is uninstall everyone of the keyboard's associated program's,file's driver's,etc. then reinstall.  If that doesn't work I would bring it in to a technician, if there's anything physically wrong with it(slipped booty, thats the cushion under the key), and if there's warranty on it contact the manufacturer.
