Does Kyle Busch race the Craftsman truck for free?

Does anyone know if Kyle Busch races in the truck series for free for Billy Balew Motorsports?

Just wondering, I heard that somewhere...does anyone else know?

I didn't know that he did that but that's pretty cool!! See your always showing me another side of Kyle that I would of never thought about ( now will you stop it ha ha LOL)

bestanswer...I was watching earlier in the season and Kyle himself said that he races the truck...not for the money at all but just to race. Then he did say he does it for free...laughed...and that was that.  I didn't get the details and I don't think he gave any.

Yes, it's true.  Kyle is trying to help Balew win an owner's championship because he is one of the charter owners of the NCTS & has never won the championship.  I looked but couldn't find where I read that Balew helped Kyle out somewhere down the line & this is Kyle's way of paying Balew back.  I know it's hard for a lot of you to understand or admit but Kyle is really a great guy when his emotions are under control.

I think I read somewhere that whatever he wins goes back into the company's piggy bank.  Doesn't he own a piece of Billy Balew Motorsports?  I think I heard that somewhere.

according to numerous interviews, yes.  the deal supposedly is something along the lines that billy balew pays his expenses, but ballew keeps the money and kyle keeps the trophies.  i had heard it might be something like a "part ownership" thing in the second truck team, where kyle's pay and winnings get reinvested into the team.
