Does Kyle Busch remind you Dale SR? the way he races?

At times, yes.

More often though, he reminds me of Darrell Waltrip. (I think it's the personality)

For those too young to remember DW in his racing years, his aggressive style of driving rivaled that of Dale Sr. and on occassion even surpassed it.

And Darrell really embraced the bad boy role, he had fun with it, much the way Kyle is now.

Kyle is smarter and faster. Also crashes less at the same age. We called the guy "Ironhead" until he killed himself by being stupid and ignoring every body's advice about belts, helmets etc. What a poor choice for a hero!!!Remember IRONHEAD. The shrub is better.

Yes in so many ways.  Dale Sr. was always booed and hated too remember.  

I think there are a lot of similarities.  More even than Jr. to his father.

But Kyle would hate that.  He's his own person as is everyone out on the tracks now.  Also, Dale Jr. is his own person too...the haters from junior nation should keep that in mind.

Kyle Busch reminds me of Kyle Busch...he's good enough not to be compared to anyone. Someday people will be compared to him, I bet.

In some ways yes and some ways no.

They both are/were very aggressive, but what gives Sr the edge is he had much better car control and was more strategic. Though I think Kyle, given a little more time, will probably imrpove his skills to a similar level.

No dale sr. "iron head" wrecked more people more often. Many will disagree because they dont remember his history or like to wink at it and over look it. He'd probably only have a hand full of wins and no championships if he never so much as touched another car.

He's better than Dirty Devilish Dale ever was. Rowdy will be a 10 time champion before he retires. Dale just wrecked a lot of innocent drivers to get his wins, and karma finally came back on him. Now he's driving that last lap in h**l over and over for eternity.

are you serious? kyle busch does not race like sr. though he tries... he just doesnt have the finesse that sr. had, he attempts to race like sr but it is not there a lot of work and he will get it... i think tony is the one who races like earnhardt at least last year and years before

No he does not. Kyle is outta control at times on the track. Kyle spins himself out occasionally. Things you never saw Dale do.

Kyle doesn't have the tenacity Sr had. Kyle really wants it when his car is good and he is doing well but if the car is bad or wrecked I see frustration not tenacity. Senior jumped in a rolled car and couldn't wait to get back out there clawing for every single point. Under similar conditions Kyle has left the track.

Senior drove hard and was highly respected by his peers, the other drivers. I don't see that at all with Kyle.

Edit   Hey Rowdy..... I never said dale was not aggressive. I am sure you can look through the twenty years of races he ran and find a few times he was out of control but that was not his style. Kyle has crashed or spun all by himself what? 3 or 4 times so far this season? He is out of control often. This isn't an argument as to who is better. Out of control works for Kyle at times but his style is different than Dales was.

You say the question was about driving on the track then your whole argument is the fans reacted to the two similarly. that has nothing to do with on track actions.

You think Kyle is great so you want him to be similar to one of the greatest, even Kyle knows he is Kyle not Dale Earnhardt. They are completely different. Kyle may end up being great or even the greatest but he doesn't act or drive like Dale Earnhardt.

No, No, No! Sr. was tactical in how he raced, Kyle well he has the nickname rowdy for a reason. Don't get me wrong the kid is good, but he has alot to learn still (which is scary). Plus I don't like comparing. Sr. raced his way and Rowdy races his way, they may have some similarities but still very different.

It's pointless to ask this question, the fans seem to get pissed when you make the connection.  There are similiarities as far as each's aggressive nature.  But Kyle is still hated by a large majority of fans, so therefore he'll never be as good or comparable to Sr no matter how many wins he has.  If Kyle keeps turning out years like this, you won't be able to compare him to anyone.  He'll be in a league all to himself

I think he races a lot like Dale Sr. and I've said it several times on Answers only to get many thumbs down by Big E fans. I don't say it to anger anybody. I think it's true though. We tend to idolize Earnhardt now that he's gone but we forget he was seen as a villian by many fans of other drivers.
