i take cayenne pepper daily

sometimes get drunk with friends on the weekends.

sometimes when my insomnia is bad i have to take a xanax that i am prescribed.

and due to pain in my knee i occasionaly have to take a percocet

i am 17 BTW

BTW please dont preach about the drinking. its realy only every other weekend and in reasonable amounts. the percocet and xanax i am prescibed and i dont like to take them often because of the addictive qualities. i am doing my best to be safe and thats why iam making sure if L-glutamine is safe to take with these things. please respect the fact that i know what im doing.

  1. L-glutamine is just an amino acid. That means it is one of the "ingredients" that makes up muscle, fibrous proteins and more. It is made in the body and to my knowlege it is hard to be glutamine deficient, unless your starving all together. It is involved in making other amino acids as well.

With regards to it reacting with the alcohol (which btw can promote insomnia) that is not going to happen. Just take the recommended dose and everything will be fine. it won't cause problems with the xanax or cayenne pepper.

Btw what are you taking it for??? I have just been learning about vitamines and suppliments and don't know why someone would need to take glutamine.

Also there are other ways of dealing with pain ask your doctor what other options you have, if you want better relief with less addiction possibilities.
