Does LAX airport have WiFi?

Question

since its such a big airport i am assuming it does but just to be sure... does it?

and do airplanes have WiFi yet?

I remember getting a signal there.  However, it's not free.  If memory serves, it was $5 for 20 minutes, or about $10 for a day.  Monthly subscription was also available.

When you try to surf to anything, the billing page comes up and asks for your credit card.

they don't have wifi on planes though.

BUT I'm sure they do ..the question is whether or not it's free. Like starbucks or Barnes and Noble for example, they have WiFi but you have to buy the connection(typically around $2.99 for an hour connection)

yeah, it does, but you have to pay and there are no wifi on planes right now.

It depends on which terminal you are in. Most do. You are not allowed to use the internet on an airplane.
