  1. still there

  2. No.

You learn it in Spanish class I think because yeismo has a different sound than regular l. (Yeísmo= ll).

It has same pronunciation, even though it's removed from alphabet.

Rr is gone from alphabet, too. But, you roll your tongue hard with it. :)

    Ch isn't in alphabet either.

However!!!! Ññ is still in alphabet because there is tilde!

  3. It was, now it is no longer considered a letter, the change came in the late nineties.

  4. Yes it is a letter of the Spanish alphabet

  5. According to the official Spanish Language regulators, no.

    Neither does CH or RR.

But commonly in schools it's included when they teach the spanish alphabet.

  6. its still there i think cuz thats wat i learned in spanish

  7. yes it still exists. why would it not? it's still used to this very day. it's just a question on how to pronounce it...most spanish countries pronounce it as a "y"...for example in "calle" it's pronounced (CAH-YAE), but other countries pronounce it as a "ts" sound...particularly spain because of the Lisp.
