Does Leather furniture really bleach in the sun?

I bought this recliner:

I want to put it near some windows, but I think it might ruin in the sun. Please Give me your advice.

All types of leather fade but some more than others.  From the photo (although these can be deceptive) it looks as though it has a pigment finish on the surface in which case it will not fade as quickly as an aniline style.  You can inhibit the rate of fading by using a protector with a UV content and although this will not stop it completely it will slow down the rate.

    Fabrics fade just the same so there is no other real solution.

    Try Ultra Protect which has been tested to be the most effective protector on the market.
