Does Lemon help your hair to be less oily?

Hi

I know if you put lemon on your hair..it makes it lighter in color and stuff..

But i was wondering if you apply lemon on your scalp if it helps to make your hair less oily, since my hair gets really oily at the top and dry at the bottom..

I wash my hair everyday tho

My friend did this and after using lemon 6 or 7 times it did kinda help...

I heard lemon can be used as a natural deodorant so it might help your head because it might block the oil and the sweat.

I havent heard that, but i do know that baby powder, soaks up some of the oil if you put a little in your hair.
