You don't need to be a Climatologist to take apart faulty statistics.  You need the persistence of a journalist to start with and a certain competence with the English language and Public speaking, which Chris Monckton definitely has, especially if you are going to confront groups of people purporting to be experts in Climate change etc., but who engage in graphical misrepresentation.  I doubt if Margaret Thatcher would have selected a man who was not competent in Science to advise her.  
Finally I think you are missing the point as no-one has addressed the issue of why the hoax of GW?  If you listen to the last part of Chris Monckton's presentation in St Paul's Minnesota (try Google), you will find that his case is complete.  Secret moves towards World Government and the loss of Sovereignty for all states needs to prove to all comers that this move is here to help solve the supposed crisis in Global Worming.  They do not have another sufficiently valid or credible reason for doing it other than creating a Totalitarian World Economic Empire. (The Third World is being promised money to agree to this Scam.  Do you seriously think they are going to get ANY at all?  Don't let's be naive!) That is why they are so desperate to make GW stick!  If you are so ill-read as to not know what I am talking about then you need to get to these websites and get clued up about what is really going on: -

If you do this homework seriously then you might just begin to understand the bigger picture.  Let's apply a little honesty and hard work all round to research the real relevant facts please, before we just wade in and try to demolish yet another good man who is attempting to speak out about all this ubiquitous fraud going on today.
