Does Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy put up the new roof during Colts games?

I have tickets for December but my friend won't go with me if she has to sit in the cold.

They can change it depending on the weather. More than likely in December it will be closed. I remember hearing that they can decide to keep it open or closed up to an hour to kickoff.  If it is snowy, windy, or cold, you can bet the Colts will keep it closed. Good luck and Have fun. If your friend wont go, im sure there are millions of others you could take!

Its not a real football game unless you can sit in the snow in the dead of winter.  I don't consider Colts fans to be real football fans.

Seriously, to answer your question, the roof will be closed in December.  I guarantee it.  Colts fans like to watch their football like they are sitting in their living rooms.
